Jennifer Walden did her residency at the University of Texas. After that she competed her fellowship at Manhattan Eye, Ear and Throat Hospital in the aesthetic surgery department. She was mentored by Doctor Sherrell Aston during this time. She stayed on at that hospital after finishing her fellowship up. She continued working in New York city for seven and a half years. During this time in New York she was a part of many clinical trials that eventually led to the reintroduction of silicone breast implants.
In late 2011 she opened up a private practice in Texas following the birth of her twin sons. Her private practice was opened up in Westlake Hills, Texas. Three years later she opened a satellite office in Marble Falls, Texas. That same year she was also honored by American Way being called one of “The Best Plastic Surgeons of America.”
There are many things that Walden is known for. One of those is using Vectra, which is a 3-D imaging that helps visualize the patients look before surgery. Another technology she uses often is ThermIVa. ThermIVa is a temperature controlled system that is used for vaginal tightening. Doctor Walden also has developed tools used in breast surgery. These are carried by the Accurate Scientific and Surgical Instruments. She is also known as one of the firs doctors to use laser machines to do a large amount of both labiaplasties and vaginoplasties.
